Since the valley was settled, mountain farmers have cultivated the land under extreme and adverse conditions. Over centuries, our beautiful countryside has been shaped by farmers' hands.
Without their hard work, the unique landscape wouldn't be what it is today. The future of tourism in the Villgraten Valley cannot be separated from the future of the region's mountain farmers. Farmers must maintain their self-confidence to be able to continue their absolutely essential work.
